Admissions requirements

Each university has a minimum GPA (grade Point average) of your bachelor’s degree to be considered for a graduate program. You will have to submit your transcripts, academic references, your resume/CV and a statement that allows us to know you and understand why you are applying to a specific program.

If you are applying for research-based programs, you need to start looking for a supervisor.

Keep in mind the deadlines to apply are normally six months before the beginning of the term you want to start studying. However, this may be different at each institution, so you should check the application deadline dates for all the programs you plan to apply to. For graduate studies, you can find programs starting in winter, spring and fall.

How to find a supervisor

A supervisor is only required if you are interested in research-based programs. Course-based programs do not require a supervisor.

All departments within the faculties of engineering have professors who are looking for top students that can help them to develop their research.

Start looking into research opportunities which are of interest to you. Start researching and reaching out to potential supervisors. In most of the cases, you don’t need a supervisor to apply, but you do need one to be accepted.
